I've managed to work out a great granola recipe, based on many healthy ingredients (and the sundance recipe on this site) but can't work out what to add to make it into a snack bar. I added a combination of honey and coconut sugar but it ended up still too sticky.. and not the best healthiest of sugars either!
I have lists of good sugar alternatives, but would love to hear from anyone with some experience of how to 'bind' the ingredients..
i use around 1 cup oats/spelt and 1/2 cup nuts and seeds, then 1/4 cup agave sugar/honey...plus dried fruit..
Any ideas anyone?

Here is a recipe from Delicious Living for oat date bars. You could use the same binding ingredients in this recipe with your already made granola. Oat date bars

Thanks for replies.
I have refined the liquid content and using about 100g of liquids (canola oil, sunflower oil, honey, molasses and a little coconut sugar) to around 300g granola I managed a very nice healthy bar! Say no to mars bars (etc) forever!
